I would only buy this food if it could be scourced easily, rather than relying on an internet seller. This if why I use Burgess Excel guinea pig pellets and also Gerty guinea pig for variety and texture. Both can be bought locally and are safe for degus. There are a few sellers on the internet selling degu food, but if your PC breaks down or you can`t contact the seller for example, it would mean changing your degus diet until you could get the food delivered, so it`s worth thinking about this beforehand?

Yeah, im going to stick to my usual gerty guinea and charlie chinchilla, to be honest, i wouldnt trust anything like that to buy, i just wondered if anyone had herd of it. It makes me laugh- Degu food with locust beans! Some companys will do anything for money!

hi people - i have actually bought something very similar if not the same as this from my trusted pet shop and my degus really like it. I say similar as i don't tend to keep packages - i put everything into air tight tubs so i threw the packaging away - sorry! butit's about the same kind of pricing as the gerty guinea pig mix but designed especially for degu's! obviously!!
