Thank you! They were a bit confused to start with and wouldn't go on it. I think because they had to be in their playpen when I installed it as I had to have the door open and tale the cage roof off,so when I put them back they were a bit "what the devil have you done woman?!" But now they seem to spend most of their time up there,possibly because it gets them even further away from the cat lol. Pickle was funny though,all that space and she squeezed herself on top of the 1x1 I used to edge the hole and went to sleep there!

Looks great. Did you use the existing half shelf as support? You have given me ideas for my boys' cage - they have a Liberta Explorer.

Kind of. I made the new framework snug enough that it butts up against the existing tray. I want to do the same to the second half level now too though lol
