She's not what I would concider huge but given the fact she is so young it might not show so much. Could she be filling out to her adult size? Some are just a bit pear shaped naturally.

Do you know how old they are? In your first post you write that they are with you about 3 months now. Did you get them as very young degus so that they would be around 5 months now? My youngsters are around 20,5 weeks now and weigh around 200-210g. They were just two (so a very small litter) with full grown, normal (around 250g) parents. (No, it was no intention to have this litter nor was I expecting to have it; let's call it some stupid circumstances out of my responsibility; and as we did not expect them we did not even see any signs of pregnancy in the female).

They were small when I got them, so probably around 5 months, Quillo is younger probably only around 3 maybe coming up to 4 months old.

Nipples, if they are beginning to show, are not on the belly but more along her side. Like if you were to draw a line from her fore elbow to her knee.
I will say that those last two pictures don't look so heavily pear shaped as the previous ones. Made me wonder if she had delivered!

I was wondering that so have been regularly checking the cage but nothing. Of course she may not be pregnant but she seemed to have gotten hugs very suddenly.
And of course there is still Quillo for me to keep an eye on as she was in with Ice for a few days.
