If Quillo is female, I guess the best thing to do would be to introduce Quillo to Dante and Nero and get a male to go in with Ice? They have all met through the bars of the cage, and spend a lot of time next to each other chirruping away to each other so guessing an introduction would probably go ok?

How old is Ice? Could you get him nurtured so they can live as a group of 4?

Obviously I need bigger cages, especially since the likelihood of Quillo being pregnant is probably quite high, I've currently got two of the pets at home thistle cages which are side by side, I plan on making that into one long cage for one group but don't really know what to do with others I may possibly end up with if she is pregnant. I unfortunately don't have much room as the rabbits cage, an extra large dog crate takes up most of the room and I only have the space in my bedroom for the goos at least until mum moves to Spain and then we are having the house off her. I'm thinking the best bet would probably be quite a tall cage with lots of levels added but only really have a max width of about 50cm available, if anyone knows of any cages that might be suitable please let me know.

Well today I decided to introduce the girls together, wasn't expecting it to take a good few weeks if not longer. Started by introducing Quillo and Dante, had some teeth chattering and tail thumping/swishing and silent boxing and chasing went on for a while and they started to ignore each other. They then went and huddled together under the towel. After a while all seemed good so introduced Nero, somehow they all seemed to get on like they were long lost sisters. Gave the cage a good deep clean, moved things about then introduced them all in together. Quillo and Dante kept having tiffs, chasing each other around and having boxing matches but nothing I was too worried about. Went downstairs to feed other animals came back up to check on them and found this Quillo is under Dante and Nero they are all completely snuggled up to each other bless them.

Thank you, Dante and Quillo are still scrapping slightly but only for a couple of seconds and then they make up pretty quick. Had Ice out for a while, he decided to go on an escape mission and went and said hello to the girls through the cage then went on a wander around the room finishing by visiting the bunnies!

Great that it is going so will with Quillo and the girls, they do look wonderfully snug in that hammock. Poor Ice must be missing Quillo.
Do you know how old Quillo is? I would suggest monitoring her weight every week or so to try and get early warning if she is pregnant, it would probably help your planning if you knew. There's not much point getting in more degus for Ice if Quillo is going to have a litter.
50cm wide is not enough for a degu cage. It should be 100cm or 90cm at a push. The better news is that if you are struggling for space then not every level needs to be as long, so maybe you could get creative and have one long level at the bottom for one group and then one long level at the top for the other group and then have them sort of overlapping. Although I should point out that having boys in close proximity to girls can drive the boys crazy and cause fighting.

Managed to sort the problem out with room for another cage, the oh moved his Tv a bit so now have a space of about 3.5ft by 2ft in which I can fit a cage on, now just to find one that is suitable. I will let you know how things get on with Quillo, I believe she is around 9weeks old possibly a tad bit older.
Ice is already sorted (oops) popped into pets at home today to pick some bits up and ended up coming home with his brother who was with him when I got Ice as when I went there today he was the last of the group they had in. They are getting along perfectly and Ice is now up and about again since when I took Quillo away he spent the whole day yesterday sat as close to the other cage as he possibly could. So far the cage for the girls will end up being about 2m long, obviously going to extend the shelves so they have more levels but was wondering how many goos this could be suitable for, I'm assuming it will be fine for the three of them but not sure if Quillo does have babies of it will still be big enough.

That's a stroke of luck that Blaze was still there....have you checked he is definitely a boy? Let's hope Quillo isn't pregnant and you are all set with plenty of goos for now without the pitter patter of tiny feet, and steer clear of PAH for a while! If you tell us more about the girls cage, we can tell you how many it is suitable for.

Blaze is most definitely a boy thankfully, I triple checked to make sure! The girls cage will be two of the pets at home thistle cages Currently it looks likes this and spans the width of my room pretty much, obviously currently they aren't combined to one cage yet as need to sort something out for the boys. Planning on cutting through the wire on the side of the cages, joining them together and then extending the top shelf to make an entire floor and then maybe adding some extra shelves as well

The PAH cage is 92x47cm, so two of those provides 8650 square cm, so you need to provide a third one to provide the recommended space for two degus, based on the floor area (one level) only. If you can put a large second level shelf in, you can increase the running area significantly, but I think you are limited on how big the shelf can be and still be able to fully access the cage through the small door. Having the two cages linked side by side does give one nice big usable space that allows a good run.
