My degu got go and some how hurt his tail. When I found him it was bleeding a little. I wiped it up and put some A&D on it and put him back in his cage. Is there anything else I should do? It's not really bad its just bleeding a little bit. I don't think the tail is going to fall off or anything.

keep an eye on the wound, if it heals up you dont need to worry, but as was the case with my degu gromit, the tail can sometimes slowly die back, especially if any flesh under the skin was exposed. If this is the case, you will need to visit the vet to get it tidied up properly.

Well, I'm glad to report his tail is fine. This morning when I looked at him he hardly had a little mark on it. I was just freaking out because he was bleeding and it was just like omg. I felt so bad for him but hes fine now. Thanx again!!
