Generally no, I will leave bedding in place for a while as long as it is dry and clean (ish) they put a lot of work into getting their bedding right and I always feel guilty messing it up every time. I suppose number of degus and cleanliness of the degus will also play a part

I change the bedding every time. With the rate my Pippin builds nests, if I don't do it once a week then they can't fit into their house anymore.
It really depends on your goos though, if they regularly wee in their bed and it gets damp then you should change it often, but if not then you can leave it a little longer.

I do change of everytime but I properly clean their cage every three weeks because it's so big. Mine like nest building to be fair, gives them something fun to do Sent from my LT30p using proboards

I change the finacard at the bottom of the cage everytime but I don't change the bedding they use to customise their hammock everytime, only every so ften when it looks like it's going to burst.
