Hi dee, have you double checked that they are all indeed boys before introducing? As we see a lot of cases of pet shops mis-sexing degus as they mistake the urethral cone for being a penis. What you need to look at is the distance between the cone and the anus, if there is a noticeable gap then you have a male, if there is no gap then you have girls! If you're struggling with it then if you get a few clear pictures and post them on here then we can give you a second opinion.
As far as the intros go, if you leave them beside each other for a week, or if you see positive signs like them sleeping next to the bars together, ignoring each other or showing signs of friendly communication earlier then try a short meeting in a neutral zone, such as the hall or bathroom but keep a towel and spray bottle ready incase you see severe fighting and have to separate them.

Welcome to the forum Lucky degus having their own room, and lucky you having such tame & friendly degus! Every introduction is different,so once you have double checked the sexes and got the new one installed seperate but in the vicinity of the others report back and tell us how they are reacting. Try not to allow degus to climb on top of the others cage, it can be threatening having them above and also toes and tails can be bitten (watch this sideways through mesh too).

Hello Dee, and welcome to the forum!! It is lovely to have you, and to hear of your little degus. They all sound lovely and very sweet in nature. You are blessed! Not all degus are so eager to have human company!
Have you managed to successfully have a good look at their private bits to determine their sexes?

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that he's a she are you thinking of getting her another female friend or two? Or it might be a possibility to get your boys neutered when they're a bit older and introduce them then?

Male female arrangements only work with one neutered male and one or more females, otherwise the boys still fight over the girls, so you might have to get another friend for the girl.

When we got our two new "boys" that indeed turned out to be girls, both of our older boys continued to have not trouble with each other. When fighting broke out, it was actually one of the boys attacking one of the girls, and trying to chase her away from the group. I had to intervene or he would have killed her. Of course, separating them completely was also needed, but the terrible persuit of the one male speeded up the plans from days to build a new cage, to hours.
Anyhow, the conflict was not between the boys, and they both adored one of the girls.
