I use Versele-laga Degu Nature – my goos love it – along with Sunseed Sunscription Degu Vita pellets (that's not the exact name of it; can't seem to get it straight). I also give them the occasional 'hard' treat (a sunflower seed each, a full rosehip or several rosehip bits each, spray millet, or puffed rice, etc.) once every three days, and 'vegetables" (bits of green beans, red peppers, peas, bits of carrot, bits of sweet potato, snow peas – usually whatever we're having that day) about once every three days. And, of course, lots and lots of hay!

www.ratrations.com/ has loads of herbs, dried leaves, flowers and berries (among other things) and is pretty cheap you can get them at P@H but after your experience with them I'm guessing you won't want to go back in a while lol.

I did see one of their ready made rat mixes that didn't look too bad, but Ratrations is better for buying and mixing your own ingredients and getting supplies of supplement/ treat foods.
I recommend JR Farm from Zooplus for ready made degu food. Unfortunately they seem to be in the middle of switching degu products at the moment. Degu Premium or Degu Special used to be what we recommended but they aren't in stock, I think they are discontinued and there is a slight delay until the new products are in (Adult Degu and Degu Feast). The Grainless Degu mix is in stock, which is excellent but expensive, and the Grainless Guinea Pig nuggets are available and also excellent.

Sorry, AMC, I meant for rosehips, should have clarified! Lol I had a look at the mixes but I think you'd be better off making a degu specific one using ingredients from there if you could!
