I had a question for the preparation of my little Dexter's labor. Is there anything at home I can do if she ends up having a breach baby? I don't have access to a vet that is remotely familiar with degus, so I wanted to make sure I'm as well prepared for it as I can be.

OI!! So far as I know, there is nothing you can do yourself. I would think that such a situation would require surgical help. What a terrible potential . . . I hope you will find that she delivers safely and all, including her, are in excellent health following the whole event.

Why thank you. Sorry for all of my posts on here. I just want to make sure I'm prepared.

Have you managed to find a vet that will at least see your goos, if necessary? I've heard that in USA vets sometimes refuse to see an animal if they don't have experience. You could ring round and try to find one with the best small animal experience.

I haven't yet. That's a good idea, though. Thank you.
