Alright so my little munckins are little brats. They refuse to eat dandelions!!! The plants are finally growing in my yard so I tried a couple of rinsed off leaves and nothing ..... no nibbles no nothing!
They will chew on branches/buds from my trees (pin cherry type) and hercules is loving the apple branches but einstein wasn't too excited by the apple branches.
Hmmmmmm anyone ever had this? Do I just need to try over and over? They won't eat oat grass, sprouted bird seed (but they LOVE the seeds), brocolli, zuchinni, cucumber, cerely (tops included), dried basil and oregano. They will eat fresh and dried carrots though.
Any tips for getting them to eat more natural stuff?

Haha I read on here how some degus love millet spray so I bought mine some thinking they would really enjoy it and they just weren't interested! Have you tried drying the dandelions? Just leave them in a place that gets the sun and in a few days they'll be dry and crispy. My goos are funny the only thing they get really excited about is the things that should only be given in moderation like seeds, nuts and oats, anything else they will eat but they never seem very enthusiastic!
