Hi a bit of a strange one - Mash has got an incredibly dry scaly tail - not sure what this means - none of the others seem to have this - he is eating well - yeah like a monster - drinking, sleeping etc but has a very very dry tail - any suggestions what this is or can i put oil on it to stop the dryness ??

Hi there, Their tails have a habit of trailing in all kinds of things don't they? I have one who insists on stripping all the tail brush hairs off of her sisters tails and this causes dryness as she tends to suck on them I break an evening primrose capsule in half and rub the oil into their tails when they're looking dry and it doesn't cause them a problem if they ingest it either.
