Hi all
ive just been given some cherry tree branches i know to give them to my degus is a no no but it does say after ive dried them out i can give them to my goos
How do i go about this ?

Hi, don't worry about cherry tree branches. If you are talking about a normal cherry tree, you can give it fresh or dry. Small branches or twigs with or without leaves I would give fresh, bigger branches suitable for decoration I would dry. I know, there is this myth about not giving branches or leaves of cherry or plum trees. Just forget it, it's a mere myth.

My degus have been getting cherry wood recently, they are really enjoying the blossom and fresh buds of leaves as well as chewing on the bark and twigs I've given some fresh and also dried some out by a radiator.

OK, this is new for me, because I live in the wettest and one of the coldest counties in England, but I'm officially grateful for the weather here now
