i found an old bird cage i was thinking of buying and doing up. its 3ft by 3ft. would it be be enought for two degus ?

stupid question but how high is it aswell, if my brain has converted that right its approx 90x90 which isnt terrible but could do with being about 30cm longer to allow for them to get into a real run. little buggers get fast after about 1.5m then you wont catch them 120 wide x90 deep x100 high would make it bigger than most bought cages and certainly deeper than most built ones. The height means you can give them more levels to run on and encourage their clambering, i refuse to call what they do as climbing except on a cage side

its 3ft high aswell. i was going to put some leges in to give them more space. i will get them a bigger cage soon but have to wait for pay day

My cage is 3ft x 2ft and 4ft high, so I don't think you'll have many size issues so long as you can give them two full sized platforms.
