Lol I have misled you in the title! I would like to know if it is OK if I put an old shoe in their cage. they stopped using their other house a few days ago and I have been giving them boxes instead (which they use) but they chew them to bits, they literally have a roof over their heads and that's it.. no walls. I guess I would have to remove the plasticy bits? but what about the actual shoe is that OK or no?
EDIT: I could also chop the end off so they have two exits lol.

I guess it's ok as long as the shoe is clean and there are no little bits they could chew off and swallow by mistake. Not sure if rubber is ok though?

what I've done is tied it to the side of the cage and made sure they can't get to the rubbery parts, removed all small chewable parts and they've got a little make shift bed!

My goos LOVE eating shoes o.o Have to keep the wardrobe firmly shut when they are out now.... Came on quite weirdly a couple months ago, they'd shown no interest in destroying my shoes as well as most other things before then.
Hope they like their new bed! Picture would be great! =)

haha, I will when I get my laptop back, none of the usbs on this laptop work (it's my old one) and it has no SD card slot. It's basically just a shoe with tissue in it
