I was thinking would it be wise if I bought a 50x50cm piece of wood and replaced one of the shelves so that they have more space? Then I may be able to buy another wheel as they find it hard to share (not wide enough for two googles)
I'll make a 3D model tonight, just going to school.

only if you edge any edges with untreated pine, the glue in that wood, is no good for goo's xx

Do you know where I can get a 60x50cm board of safe degu wood? (extra 10cm to make a ramp ;P)

There's loads of places on the internet that cut to size and deliver any wood you want

I made another floor in my cage by buying a panel of mesh, filed down any sharp edges, cut a hole in it so the degus can pass through and attatched it to the cage using cable tidies, I've covered the mesh with cardboard which I replace weekly as it soon gets covered in pee
