John Hopewell's website sells them but very expensive .. I'm going to try and make my own. Plenty of instructions around if you look. )

Silent spinners are great (not so silent though) and good for their feet. They cost about £20 and are made of strong plastic. Mine have never chewed theirs.

There were quite easy to make. I would recommend trying this. If you look at this thread you will find all the steps and lots of photos. deguworld.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Cage&thread=7448&page=1I have also made 1 with the same metal bowl and a scooter wheel. If you do make one and have any questons just ask.

It was actually under the base that the wheel stands on! We had used it for ages before this happened but it has really freaked us out. We let them have the wheel when they are out of the cage and being supervised totally but not in the cage any more. More little fella is having to have metacam and Baytril atm and is not happy taking it I can tell you.....

Once cinnamon managed to get behind a John Hopewell wheel, which was a very very tight squeeze for her, got stuck, then started squeeking like mad as Nutmeg then decided to try and run in it! I was so frantic and panicked. Cinamon obviously was really scared and did not appreciate my attempts at trying to rescue her whilst Nutmeg was either jumping up and down on my hand or trying to run in the wheel. At one point she figured out I was stopping the wheel from going round so she started biting my hand and trying to pull it away. Silly goos!
