Hi, I am quite into making thing for my degus. (plus hamsters, birds and snails. lol) I am going to ikea next week, does anyone know of anything that I can make for the degus from ikea things? Last time I went I got this and it fits perfectly into my PAH cage. www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/90072648 It makes a great little dinning area. I don't get to go very often as ikea is quite far from me. So I'm getting a shopping list together now so I don't forget anything. Hopefully someone will be able to help me out. Kat

I've been there lately with a view to getting things for the goos, but didn't really see anything They had grassy type place mats but they weren't any better or cheaper than pet shop ones. They have got pale blue fleece throws for about £1 which are good for making things. They had ceramic pots you could use for little houses or steps. Maybe you've got a better eye for it than me, that basket looks quite good I tend to go in big shops like that and enter a useless trance!

flying saucer dish looks good, you'll have to tell us how to make it! the grass mat things are OK, but I got something similar from UKpetsupplies for £1.75 I think, so ikea is more expensive. I thought generally while I was looking round that it didn't seem nearly as good value as it used to be
