I am very interested to find out how many of you have hand tame goos! Look forward to the results. Many Thanks!

Ours don't really fit into any of those options -- they don't like to be picked up and held, but when they come out of the cage using the ramp we made them they'll climb all over us. They're almost impossible to pick up!

I've recently posted pictures of our little guys being carried around the house. They are about 6 months old and we have had them 3 of those. A little treat goes a long way as an incentive, although if in the mood they will come out to play without one. :-) Good poll as I'd like to see about others too!

Mine is two. She's all over me and sleeps in my arms, especially since her sister/cage mate passed away.

i voted in the second category, but that is not entirely accurate. they don't like to be picked up exactly, but will come sit on my shoulder if i go up to their cage. and they have to be in the mood to do this, i can stand there and talk and coo and beg for them to come and i just get that goo look and they turn and walk away--they definitely have their own minds!

I voted in the second category, too. Chewy lets me pick him up and pet him for a short time. He's starting to understand that a good ear-rub and scratch are available from me now. Charlie... not so much. He'll stand in my hands on his own, but he won't let me pick him up or pet him.

Mine climb all over me, but they don't like to be picked up, held, or stroked. I don't think I'd call them tame, but I'm voting for the option for climbing all over me.

Nearly all of my degus are very tame, nearly intrusive.

my two some times let me hold them. some times they just want to climb all over me. i have only had them a few day so i am impressed with how tame they are all ready. most of the time they are not bothered just happy doing there own thing. i dont think they are the sort of pet that wants to be handle a lot or played with i think a dog or a hamster are more for that

my boys have really different characters! Pooka will run all over me and will let me hold her forever! and Bear is so timid, he would be run away! he's a bit better now though, he lets me pet him

My boys are so tame I sometimes don't beieve it. They climb all over me and never go off playing for more than a minute or so before they come back and check I'm still there. Then when they've had enough, they both come and fall asleep in my cupped hands or in the crease of my elbow, bless em.
