Our youngest Degu has recently found it fun to play with her mum's and adoptive aunt's tail. Usually they move away so she doesn't do any damage but she'll chase them for a good few minutes to get their tail. Anyway, when we got Tink it looked like the end of her tail had been cut off. It was all perfectly heeled but there was no hair on the tip and it looked like a Rottweiler's tail tip. However Tink's tail looks slightly mangled, I've only noticed it within the last 2 days; it was bleeding when I was holding her before. The very tip looks flattened a bit. I'm guessing it's the baby but what can I do to stop this or at least allow Tink's tail to heal?

Maybe remove the baby (if it isn't too young) for a day or so, so it can heal or something? Not sure.
