with my hand in the cage is really paying off The goos cage is next to my desk and I will often sit with my hand inside the cage while I'm reading on the PC etc and the goos will sit on or groom my hand (sometimes a little roughly but never enough to break the skin). I have been wiping shelves and doing bits of cleaning the cage regularly but decided tonight I wanted to take the girls out of the cage to do a thorough clean and rearrange - I haven't attempted handling them so far (had them three weeks) as they were pretty skittish when I got them. It went really well. I just reached into the cage and scooped each of them up and they didn't fight me, squeak at me or try to get away I'm really looking forward to proper cuddles with them once I'm more confident in their bond with me

Yay, it's such a brilliant feeling isn't it. Before you know it they'll be cudding up to you, or at least confident enough to use you as an escape method :-)
