i joined hear a few months ago with my charlie that i homed after she ( yes all comfirmed shes is a she now lol ) was split up from her sister due to fighting she was a little terrour but i have now got her so tame i can touch her i can pick her up carry her around she will now even curl up in my arms if i havent been able to get her out of the cage for 1 day she will start to be very vocal as if to say hay come play i just need 1 friend for her now i think im going to end up getting 1 from the dreaded pets at home as no one near me has one going and the RSPCA never got back to me about the 2 sets of 2 that needed rehomeing so thankyou for all the advice so far

where are you based hun? I have a single female, whos previous cage mate, beat her up. She is totally healed, just on her own xx

I'm so glad that Charlie is doing so very well!! It sounds like you and she have made a wonderful bond with each other, and THAT is good news indeed!! @ Smux, that sounds like a great offer.

the main prolem i have is its my partner that drives ect and he has the final say and he dont like charlie he dont like any rodents so unless someone lives on our doorstep hes the one that says no ( misrable bugger ) but when it comes to our tropical fish hes traveled upto 45min for 2 large catfish which were going free i will have to sweetern him up i think lol

aren't husbands t**ts!! my husband is the same, i won't actually print what i;d like to call him, but he does my head in. I think hes just jelous of my animals, maybe if he didn't moan as much, i might pay more attention to him lol x

well were going to whipsnade zoo tomorrow for my daughters first birthday mayb ill leave him their with the chimps haha and bring home some nice animal in his place lol

we went to one of them whipsnade safari park its fabso much open space its only 15 min down the road from us were going to become members so we can go more it was so quite and peacefull their fab day they have some animals even roaming free and they take the elephants for a walk once a day threw the park trunk to tail in a line no chains or ropes just the keeps walking next to them and the baby's at the side to its so sweet its 600 acers of land their
