Hi there I was wondering if anyone can help me on this one. A female chinchilla I kept from a baby gave birth about 2 weeks ago unfortunatly 1 of her babies had died but 2 survived but they were very small and weak so untill today i havent touched them as I didnt think they were going to survive as none of her last litter did but putting a different experienced chin in with her has seemed to of helped them along but when I checked the runt of the litter over it seems to be missing 2 toes on its front paw its not showing any pain from not having these missing but the nubs are very slightly cracked like dry skin.
Has anyone else had this before?

mmmm i have been told this before but the 2 that have breed is from 2 seperate places and of different ages. the baby seems more than fine with her fingers missing i just thought it was unusual i think she might of been fighting with the brother as there were scabs on the nubbs at first and i think they might have been took off in a fight or something
