How do I know if she is pregnant?

I got two new degus a couple of days ago from a pet shop because I couldn't just leave them in a small cage like that... anyway when the shop gave them to me they told me that I have a mother and daughter and that they could possibly be pregnant because they were brought in with the father and brother but the two carry cases had one male and one female in each, which mean, they could have been living like that.

Now Allegra (the mum) is really rather large but I don't know if this is just because she has had babies before or whether she is pregnant.

This picture shows her tummy rather well and I just don't know whether its because she has been pregnant before or if she is pregnant.

Both my other degus, that I had originally have never had a stomach like that or the two I had before that have now passed on. I have never bred degu's before but have done alot of reading in case she is pregnant but would be nice to know if she is or not, or at least if there is a way of finding out.

I know they don't start showing a month before the babies are born and to check the weight but i don't want to handle her too much if she is pregnant, she will come out and sit on me but i dont want to move her to weigh her... that and I dont know if she is pregnant how long she has been pregnant as I only got the two of them three days ago.

I've replied on your other threads, but yes I do think Allegra is pregnant due any day now. I think Mocha started really showing maybe 4 -5 days before giving birth. In your other pictures you can see two or three rounded shapes - I believe those are babies heads. They are born with rather large heads. You should be able to feel the babies moving about as she sits in your hands.
