Thanks, I thought as much and was going to split them at 6 weeks which they will be in 1 more week because I thought Lil was no longer feeding them, but last night I caught her balancing on top of 4 feeding babies ;D Their new, much bigger cage for 7 girlies (Mum, 5 girls from 1st litter, 1 girl from second) arrives tomorrow and I was going to wait till the boys were 6 weeks, then move girls into the new cage leaving the boys in their original home. But now I'm going to keep the boys with mum for a few more weeks so they will all get to try out the new pad Paula

The mother of mine stopped feeding after about 4 weeks from what ive noticed.
They are just eating solids and drinking straight from the water container now.

Oh, just so you know, just becuase they are all cuddling up underneath the mother, does not nessecarily mean that she is feeding.
Mine do it alot to the dad just to get some warmth.

I might be wrong (its quite rare, but has been known! LOL) ;D but it definitely looked like feeding, the babies were on their backs and they were away from all the others (thats how Lil seems to like it when feeding). They are eating from the food bowls and drinking from the water bottle too, they're eating me out of house and home! Do you think I'm right to keep them with mum for another 3 weeks? They are a good size, bigger than the litter of 5, that, and because I thought Lil had stopped feeding were the reasons why I was going to split them at 6 weeks. But there's no rush as I believe the little boys shouldn't be able to get the girls pregnant for a while yet? ( more babies is the last thing we need) Paula

8 weeks is the maximum amount of time they can stay together.

They need as much socialising with their mum as possible. So 8 weeks is the max and best age to seperate.
