2, when can i start giving treats to the pups? is it when they have started to eat solid food?
3. what is the best for the pups to have? i currently only have p@h degu nuggets is this ok? i know it cant be to much longer before they eat solids as they have already started to chew on hay

1. What you're doing is fine...the cage doesn't need wiping down EVERY time you clean it
2. I've started giving mine sunflower seeds (without their shells) now they're on solids. I wouldn't give them anything hard (like dried corn) or large (like nuts) until they're a bit bigger, but the treats I bought at P@H that you can give in abundance (there's these yellow stars for instance) they've been having for a week or so
3. P@H nuggets is fine, gerty guinea pig is also a good food according to degutopia. I'd stick with the nuggets, mine get that with a little bit of gerty mixed in
4. It can be attempted at any age, but it's not important to do so until they're 6 weeks old and it's time to split them up. Some people can tell just by a glance, some can't...I've had a go, but they're too wriggly for me and I don't want to force them on their back at such a young age :-)
5. See 4
