Right so all my worries about my goo are gone. Shortly after posting yesterday i heard her squeaking a lot so after a while worried i picked up her house and there were babies!!! I was so happy that i dont have to worry anymore.
Mum has been very good with them and i managed to see 5 little babies. However when i checked them this morning and noticed all that one have their eyes open, but i was in a rush and didnt think much of it. Tonight when i saw him at first i thought he was dead, were all the others were around mum squeaking and sqirming this one was still as anything on his own then i saw he was actually breathing. this one also looks slightly smaller than the rest. Ive come on here before doing anything as i dont know what i should do, do i leave him and hope for the best? I thought taking him away from mum to the vets could be a problem. The only other thing is to take it away and feed him myself?
ahhh i really dont know what to do please help me!!
thanks

Sorry havnt had time to come on since i last posted! although i did read your post online, thanks for the response. I did everything you said, he was feeding a little bit although not as much as the others, i tried putting him with mum on their own but she just paniked abotu the others and so ignored him, although he didnt squeak for her! and when i put him in the cage i put him not directly with her and she did come and get him. Unfortunatly he did die i think he must have just been to weak to survive despite mine and mums best efforts! But i still have four other healthy babies who are keeping me up at night!! Dad has been moved into a cage next door and is soo funny. he doesnt like being on his own very much though. When one of the babies leaves the nest and mum hasnt noticed he startes squaking its like hes shouting at her to get it lol it makes me laugh so much! Ill post some pickys as soon as i can x

yeah ive been letting dad in with them, although hes such a pain because when hes in with them he wont let me catch him again! lol but i think mum likes it as when hes there they cuddle and he looks after the nauthy babies. Theyre starting to leave the nest a bit now, which is funny, mum is leaving them alone a lot more (not sure if she should be this early but they seem fine) Theyre soo funny though running around but when they want to go home they just sit a make a noise until mum comes and gets them! theyre soo cute though.

i would love to let her out but shes not very good and hasnt come back when i have done a few times before so im a bit reluctant to do this as she does tend to panik when shes out! as for her and bubble in the evenings they will talk to each other through the bars of the cage its soo sweet, i wish i could let them in together but i dont want any more little ones as i dont have the room! As it is ive had to re-arrange my bedroom to make way for another cage lol Bubble HATES being alone though so i let him out and about in my room aswell as a nice little treat and he comes straight back home As for handeling babies mum is quite happy for me to pick them up she has a sniff and then goes away although it was funny when i let my brother pick one up and it started squaking at him lol So far i havnt seen her carry the babies she just sort of pushes them in the right direction :L i was unsure about this as i know most animals do carry their babies by the scruff of the neck so i was quite suprised to see her pushing it along! i dont think baby was too impressed by this either! lol they all seem quite happy though and i thik Squeak is enjoying being a mum now she can leave them alone a bit more.

I did think that she may be more inclined to come back now she has the babies but i dont want to take the chance whilst their still dependant on her feeding regularly :L When they are less reliant on her for that ill let her out, but putting her in with dad sounds like a good idea, i hadnt thought of that! Actually i was going to ask because hes been chewing his bars so much hes rubbed the fur off the top of his nose ive been putting lots of new things in for him to play with and he is a little bit better since ive put more stuff in but its not making enough differeance for it to heal. Maybe putting her in with him for a bit will stop him a bit. Shes been a bit funny about me picking her up again, she mellowed out whilst pregnant and just after shes had them but now she squeaks at me if i go near her. Its strange as shes next to my bed and last night i was reading and she came and sat next to me and she was making a noise so i put my hand in and she was fine with it! I think i just need to take more time with her to tame her a bit more. I dont think her teeth are overgrown but ill put some sticks in just incase ahh theyre such nightmares lol Ive also noticed theyre at their most noisy when im trying to do something important like get to sleep before work or try and do my uni work. But i did notice they were quiet last night when i didnt have to be up thismorning! lol typical
