So went to say goodnight to the girls and noticed about 4-5 really pale poops around the cage. They weren't there earlier when I got them out for play. It may be something totally normal but I'm still a novice and it's something I've never come across.
They eat a good diet of timothy hay with dandelion in, p@h nuggets, few dried herbs and odd treats. I can't convince them fresh veg is a good idea yet so they have dried. I guess I'm just wondering whether it's an indicator of a problem or something that just happens with the 'natural process'. Sorry for the poop talk! Anyone else seen this? :-)

If they have time out of the cage, it might be something they've gnawed (Paint? Wallpaper? Wood?) that's gone through their system without being digested...it's a regular occurrence, not to be worried about usually

I keep a very close eye on them but pepper is a sod for nibbling the table. It could be that I guess. I'm not sure which goo's poo it is, but as long as it's usually nothing to worry about then that's ok. I'll sleep easier now, thank you smux! :-)

If the table's white wood (or whiter inside, or covered with white paint) then it is very possible it is. It could also be tissue if you've put that in their house, they're known to eat paper or tissue sometimes, so it is likely to be something minor much like the "blood" we see in the cage that turns out to be beetroot urine. I can't guarantee for sure, but I've seen it posted before and I'm just reiterating what was said :-)
And no probs...hopefully tomorrow other people will post with alternative suggestions of what it might be...if there are any illnesses or such that might be linked, although I still say it is more likely to be something benign and harmless :-P
