Hi, I have just got 2 little Degu boys. I've wanted them for ages and saved up for them for months. They are called Charlie and Leo and are lovely, but totally nuts. Watching them fly around their cages is really fun. Hope to learn more about them and chat to other Degu lovers. Stay happy Pumpkin

Hi Pumpkin. I'm a new member here too and have found it very friendly and informative. I 'm just starting the saving up stage to get a decent cage built and preparing to welcome degus to my home. Like you , it will take me months but I am sure it will be worth it.

Can anyone help me to sort this out - first was Danny my beautiful little baby boy from local petshop, returned to them because he was fighting (but he was only a baby and all on his own) Then l had another boy 3 yrs old who had lost his companion a few months ago, l put the cages together and although they sit on perches next to each other, l am afraid to go any further as the older one is a lot bigger than Danny. I did put them in the bath together after two weeks but Danny ran up the side and was realy frightened. He jumped right out. On their own they are both adorable and friendly to me. Should l carry on trying to get them in together ? I've never had goos before and l adore them but l would appreciate some advice.
