ok everybody here's my newest challenge--my guys love to sleep in a food dish. it's what they call a feeding crock and it attaches to the cage itself. unfortunately my guys are now full grown and as of 2 days ago, i guess they decided that it is too small for both of them to sleep in it comfortably. i looked in my local pet store for a larger one, but the 20oz size is the largest they carry and that is the one i have. so if anybody knows of a company that makes these in a larger size, i would appreciate any info. thanks! I've included 2 pics, the first one shows them in the bowl and the 2nd is how it looks attached to cage Shot with Canon PowerShot A10 at 2007-07-15 Shot with Canon PowerShot A10 at 2007-07-15

Sweet. Our 5 year old degu Ben likes to sleep in the food, too. No other degu can eat, while he is sleeping.

actually there isn't any food in that dish, they have a seperate one for the food. and i went to a different pet store the other day and found a larger dish for them. but they haven't tried it yet so now i am wondering if they are just looking for something different to sleep in. lately they are huddling at the top of the cage on the ledges that are up there. the other day they were upside down on the bottom of the tank--scared me at first cause i had never seen them do that before! 2 male goos and they say women can't make up their minds
