as im sure you all know, ive had my two (choc and chips) for about 2 weeks now but as time is going on i seem to be getting more and more worried about the amount of food im giving them...
at present im giving them about 2 small hand falls of food a day, my concern is that this may be a little too much??? the other day i didnt give any as my concern is that they are just eating for the sake of it but then decided its cruel not to feed them...lol dont get me wrong, they have nugget type food in the cage at all times however they dont tend to eat that.. they constantly eat hay which i gather is good for them? so, how much should i be giving? they love the food i have, not sure if you know it, its called cuni crispy, a Guinea and chinchilla food. ive been everywhere to find different types of food, the selection is crap out here in spain, everything seems to have fruit or honey added except this one.. im going to order some from the chinchilla2shop site......was looking last night, fab!!!
my next question is... what woods are ok for them? in my garden i have apple, pear, orange, clementine, fig, khaki (sp?) and another spanish fruit tree, not sure what its called?! i have easy access to olive and almond trees also... so... out of the list about what would make the best branches to use in the cage? currently they have apple and love it!! oh...and are they aloud any of the leaves???
thanks everyone for any help xxx
