Found this and thought I'd share it. P@H sells 850g bags for £3 (I can't remember exact price, it's between £2 and £3 so probably £2.99) and from this link you buy the equivalent of a 2.5kg bag for the same price. Granted you have to buy 15kg and that doesn't include postage of nearly £6, but buying food in bulk like this is definitely worth it in the long run :-) cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140437122039Also, I've bought from wundapets before, they're fine. Personally I plan to buy 2x15kg from them which should work out at around £40 and for that I get 30kg of food in 12 bags of 2.5kg (you can choose between 6x2.5kg or 1x15kg) which should save me a lot of money in the long run even if I buy degu nuggets to mix in with it :-)

Just so people know, the deal is still on and the seller will bundle everything into a courier package up to 30kg for £5.95 delivery, and they have quite a few useful items for us degu owners. I bought some hay and a few treats (including a 1ltr tub of small pet treats for £3, and looking at the ingredients (you can see them in the image provided) you are safe giving them to degus although they don't all seem to like them (I think it might be the levels of oils in it, so I don't give them many). Almost everything you could need for standard supplies (huge 20kg bag of sepolita, for instance, £11 or so...P@H do a 3kg one for about £4, I'm sure you can see the difference in price there, plus hay, food, treats and woodshavings) so I've switched from P@H to them permanently :-P
Oh, and P@H price for the gertie guinea pig 850g is £2.59, I found out since then...I haven't edited the above, it'll do to post it here.

To avoid postage many independent pet shops will order items in for you. So if you have a local pet shop you should be able to get the same price without having to pay postage. I do this with a lot of the foods I buy in bulk. It's worth asking around, after all they can only say no.
