Young wills is in desperate need of a home and some friends after having to be split from the female group. He is really becoming stressed on his own and is needing to find friends asap. Sorry to be picky here but this comment caught my eye The Blue Cross recomends that degu's are housed in a spacious wire cage with a plastic base It has always been my understanding that plastic based cages are a no go for degus, as they are likely to chew through them very quickly. Is it possible for you to change the wording so that the new owner doesn't have a loose degu on their hands?

Thanks for that Kovu didn't realise it did say plastic thank you for pointing that out. Thats not what we recommend as indeed they would have a loose degu.
