Morning all, I've posted this on another forum (chinwags) but no-one could help, so maybe you guys can? My boy Columbine seems to be changing colour. He has root elongation which we are fighting with supplements and monitoring and I'm not sure if this is related. He is a five year old standard violet carrier and has always had good quality veiling across his coat. At his last moult however, the veiling has not come back. What black tips there are are sparse and widely spread. The overall effect is that he looks much more like a sapphire/violet rather than a standard. Could this be a nutritional problem?

I'm sorry but I don't think I can help either.
Maybe it is with the root problem. Is he on any medication at the minute? If so you could phone the vet for piece of mind. It may be a side effect.
Hope your little one is okay. Sorry I couldn't be of more help =[ x
