I have had a number of emails from people who have had their family of degus grow unexpectidly. This board is here for people to post adverts as they wish to find or offer homes for their degus.
Please include a contact email address, and a general location to help people.
Good luck!!
Please note, once a new home has been found, please leave a post on your thread so it can be closed.
Threads older than 3 months in the market place will be removed to keep those degus needing new homes as the priority.

Hi I have a 2 year old female Degu (Thelma) who needs a new home with other degu's. Sadly I had to have her partner in crime (Louise) put to sleep earlier due to dental problems that were untreatable . It breaks my heart to see Thelma go but due to allergies I am unable to buy a new degu and don't want her to live alone. She is a good girl and very tame and loves climbing over people and running around dragging tissue behind her like a mini Andrex Puppy. I will only allow her to go to a person that can convince me that she will be going to a good home and would like updates on her progress. I am unable to deliver due to unsuitable transport but if someone is willing to collect her and her things that would be great. Bristol (England) or surrounding only please as I don't want her unsettled more than necessary. If interested please email me on gert.lush@live.co.uk. Free to good home

I am a trustee with Animal Rescue & Care (ARC) and I have two groups of degus looking for new homes. 3x females approximately 14mths old, who have been dumped twice now in their short lives, and have not been handled. Currently with a patient foster carer who is getting them used to human contact, these girls are very entertaining but do needs lots of attention to get them used to being handled.
I also have a group of 5x degus who arrived this evening. The previous owner was unsure of their age or sex. I estimate them to be under 1yr, and female (although once settled I will confirm their genders). They seem friendly, but again need some patience to get them used to being handled. I'm sure this group will make lovely pets for goo lovers as they are young enough to tame.
If anyone is interested in giving either of these groups their forever home, please contact me via email: heleng@animalrescueandcare.org.uk - I am unable to deliver, but I am based in TWICKENHAM, MIDDLESEX, and open for evening viewings.

The group of 5 females have been re-homed, but the group of 3 are still looking for a new home.

Hi heleng,
Its great to hear that some of the degus have been rehomed. If you start a new thread for the others you may get a better responce.
