Is there anyway to say if a degu has liver disease, she’s doesn’t drinks lots but she eats but gains no weight. She’s been having nuts with her meds ( painkillers) I’m completely out of idea what to give her for gain weight. I feel like I’m killing my Degus cos I’ve been giving them Nuts everyday.

I don't know, its not something I've heard of in degus.
If its going to be a help, I have several spare packets of Science Selective Recovery and Science Selective Recovery Plus which is similar to CC. They go out of date at the end of this month, but are still OK to use.
Do you want me to send them to you? I can pop them in the post tomorrow, just PM me your address if you'd like them.

You're welcome. I'll PM you the tracking link once its on its way to you. You mix it the same as CC and you can add peanut butter and/ or veg baby food to it if she prefers it.

It can just be old age, DL, it's not necessarily a disease or something bad going on.
I would try offering a range of extras, she can have the odd grain, Crock, seeds, dried veg, dandelion root, anything that takes her fancy. It's better if she takes a variety of these extras than just one thing. I linked a mix that is suitable in your other thread.

As long as it doesn't have any sweeteners. Health shops do a nice one that's just peanuts. You can add an organic veg baby food as well.

I used to make a mixture that was Science Selective Recovery, Recovery Plus, veg baby food and peanut butter. Little Amber loved it and would eat her fill, Sphene would do the washing up.

Sorry I thought I replied gonna look into the peanut butter Ty for the tip If you can't find any non-sweetened, non-sugary stuff easily, you'll be able to make it yourself as well, with some effort. I've found that when you crush peanuts enough and grind them (or just use a food processor or similar, it will save a lot of effort), they will become very pasty in consistency since there's a lot of fat and oil in them to begin with. I've also experimented with grinding various seeds into a fine crushed flour, which you can add water to to make it into a paste. I used this method to fortify and supplement baby food (also just to make it more tasty) when I was tending to Suti after she broke her jaw.
I used a mortar and pestle, but if you don't have one (and also lack a food processor or similar), you can also try putting the nuts and seeds inside a folded piece of parchment paper and then going over it with a rolling pin many times. Or using whatever heavy thing is at hand to crush it.

Sorry I thought I replied gonna look into the peanut butter Ty for the tip Pip 'n' Nut is a good one, as is Whole Earth. Both are available in supermarkets, health food shops etc. Pip 'n' Nut is just peanut butter, nothing else. Whole Earth is a bit more expensive, but contains palm oil.

I would try but I’m not very good at baking or making stuff, I have abit of a learning disability

It does tend to settle a bit, so its runny on top and really thick at the bottom. Dig down with a spoon and give it a mix.
