Hi all well it’s been about a year now since I’ve last been on here it was a very devastating time when I was last on here after losing all three of my degus I lost all three of them near each other then I’ve lost my mum this year I’m not having much luck with death now I’m here again worrying about one of my other degus again this one was one of shadow’s baby she is 6 years old now and I’ve noticed this big lump it’s very worrying I will try and upload a picture on here I called the vet and they can’t get me an appointment for a week yet any thoughts about this one thank you so much

I'm sorry you've been having such a rough time.
Its impossible to say from a photograph as investigations may need to be made to determine what it is. All lumps need to be seen by a vet.

Hello, Zo! Welcome back. I would love to give you a hug . . . not possible through the computer, but know that my heart is sending you as many as you need. You've had a hard year, and I am so sorry for all the pain and grieving. Grief is hard. My mom died over 3 years ago, and my dad died Dec 27th almost 2 years ago. Although my grief has changed in that time, I still feel it. Some days just as intensely as when it was new. I am very sorry for the weight and pain of this year in your life.
I think like Savvy, you should have her seen by your vet, but just get the information and then think on it. Discuss it here if you feel you can. Don't feel that you must rush into a decision while in the consultation with your vet.
