I recently bought a puzzle toy for my goos, its a plastic board with some lids they can take off and treats are hidden underneath. (they only have it supervised, no eating plastic will happen) and so far, it's been great. One of them is super smart and he pulls off all the lids quickly now!
I also have a ball with some holes in that you put treats in and they push it around to get the treats out.
Both of these toys have gone down great, now I'm looking for other ideas to engage their minds. They get toilet tube "christmas crackers" and egg boxes with treats hidden inside.
Anyone got any other fun toys / ideas?

WOW!! Those two things you mention, the plastic board and ball with holes, sound amazing!! Hmmm! I wonder what else there can be out there? Parrot toys and boredom breakers might be perfect, because they are so smart and do need challenging things. I expect that is where you got the two you mentioned?

I've got a couple of puzzles made from wood. Both are rectangular. One has lids with stalks that they can lift off to reveal a treat, but one lid is missing because Spidey preferred it to the treat. The other three has three blocks that pull out. Each block has two hollows to hide treats, and you can put them into the blood any way up.

Those are AWESOME!! What excellent finds!! I LOVE that they hid all the lids in their stash! TYPICAL DEGU!! They are total "GROUND CROWS."

Toilet rolls with multiple sticks pushed through with a treat trapped inside is also a good toy for them and really cheap and easy to make
