It depends on how old the pee is, how soiled the area is, and what surface has been peed on.
A single, fresh pee on its own shouldn't smell too offensive. However, if it's been there a while and is soaked into wood, or sitting on top of a metal surface, or is a havily soiled area then you're going to get some smell. Particularly in this heat.

I find that wee smells more and quicker in the warmer temperatures of the summer, I suppose the bacteria must multiply more quickly.
