Coco my degu has been actin very odd recently, she doesn't seem hyper, sleeping most of the day/relaxing. Could she be going into her adult behaviour now. Did bury some treats ealier, eating at slow speed. Maybe she's sleepy? Idk they have a lazy weekend

I wouldn't say acting a bit lazy is a sign of ill health. It's not unusual for them to be more lazy especially as they become full adults. Mine are 6 and they sleep or laze about most of the day.
With ill health you are likely to see more hiding and fear, you might see them sitting hunched with their fur fluffed up. They might hang out in different places with a better view, they wouldn't be doing much but they wouldln't look relaxed, more like sitting watching.
Are you continuing to weigh them regularly? I think that's the best thing for peace of mind.

Don't forget that although they are day dwellers, they can also be active during the night, especially at dusk and dawn. She could just be catching up on sleep from an active early morning. Mine get lazier as the days lengthen and I do hear them up and foraging in the very early hours.

Mine are always more active in the evenings, so I always judge how they are based on their behaviour during the evening.
Try not to worry DL!

I know I shouldn't worry but she doesn't seem herself, she's about 15months. When do they mature and calm down.

it's because it's too warm I'm sure. If we had any sense we'd be having siestas too She's just doing what they'd do in the wild, conserving energy in the warm weather. All my critters are pretty lethargic at the moment. Except the dogs, pup never stops playing. She does look really well mind, like savvy said. All shiny & sleek. Looks very happy & content to me.

Ditto Randomname - when it's warm, they'll take a siesta and will be most active when it starts to cool down.
What's the temperature like in your room?

Sounds like Dixie's day, lol. As long as she's eating and drinking she's fine. She doesn't look puffed up, she's not hiding, she's just warm and settling down.

There's no hard and fast rule, a bit like humans. As long as they have constant access to a supply (eg their bottle), they're fine.
