Is he eating okay Chloe? Any of the usual signs of dental disease and no signs of any injuries that may have gotten infected.
They can sometimes lose a bit of weight in spring but I wouldn't expect it to be quite that drastic.
Best you can do is to try and get him to bulk up a little using extra seeds and nuts and maybe have recovery feed on hand just incase you need it quickly.
I hope he maintains or starts to gain weight again soon!

That's a massive drop! Did Dean include xrays in his checks? Could something be stressing him out? Could you try some high calorie foods that don't require much effort, like ground nuts?
Come on Big Al, sort yourself out!

Teeth are usually the culprit – spurs but also roots. I would definitely consider having X-rays done.
I too would try and tempt him to eat high calorie foods.
I guess if he looks skinny, he isn't bloated (?) Is he all fluffed up and hunched? Is his backbone sticking out/prominent? Or is he still looking reasonably good and active? (My skinny sickly goos weigh 130-150g.)
Come on, Big Al. We're all rooting for you!

I haven't had x-rays done yet. I've just paid out my deposit sp literally hanging on to payday. Dean was nearly an hour having a very good look in his mouth and didn't see any spurs or infection. He said to feed him up a bit and weigh him regularly and come straight back if hea still dropping then we'll do bloods and x-rays. His nasal passage seems clear no snuffling or discharge. Hes still active maybe sleeping a bit more but I dont find him fluffed up anywhere maybe he's Jusy been feeling under the weather. Back bone isn't sticking out but hips are slightly more prominent. Not majorly though.

Do yours usually lose weight in the spring?
Have you noticed any change in eating habits or activity?
See what you can spot going on over the next few days. Hope he's OK.
