You can also get seed mixes (and loads of other forage goodies) from a german site www.hansemanns-team.de/index.php?tpl=mobileSome of the stuff is translated in the bought herbs and flowers thread (page 3 or 4) and for the rest use google translate or ask here if the translate goes funny. I just ordered 8.5kg and delivery was less than €12 so it's not badly priced at all and the forage you get is in nice large pieces.

I am so sorry for your loss, Adsh! What a terrible shock to you and your three other girlies!
It sounds like you have been busy with the cage and with getting forage. Can't wait to hear how it all goes, and what the girls think of the new foods!!

I'm sorry for your loss.
It sounds like the other girl has an ongoing gut issue. I would recommend you try and get her to take some Critical Care or Supreme Recovery and also some Vetark Pro-C probiotics to try to sort her gut issue out. The forage should help too. All small herbivores have very sensitive guts and can get into trouble very quickly if there is any disturbance to the gut, if their gut stops altogether it is called stasis and can kill them.

Shes all happy tonight currently sat in a degu bundle of fur with her sisters making happy noises lol.
I think they miss her though, i feel really bad about it. Could it of been due to just having nuggets and hay?

I think a very sudden death is unlikely to be a direct result of nuggets and hay.
It will probably take them quite a while to get over her loss, but as long as nobody is alone, they will get through it.
