Hi guys,
serial poster at the moment. Since Poppy and Pickle have had their new cage, they've been sneezing quite a lot. There's no discharge, eyes look clear, other than Poppy's dirty bum (lol) they're acting fine. Running on their new wheels (could the wood the wheel is made from be causing an issue?). The only different thing other than EVERYTHING lol, is new food. Could the mixes just be tickling their noses in terms of smells and making them sneeze? Pickle has her head shoved into the forage mounds as we speak and is sneezing up a storm!

Maybe the hemp floor?

Only Pickle has it, Poppy hasn't got it yet. x Maybe? They were sneezing a little before either of them had it though, and were on cardboard.
Pickle still has cardboard on the mini ledge for where her food is, same for Poppy. Poppy still has cardboard on her middle level, Pickle has hemp.
Bottom floor trays are full of toilet roll shredded for bedding lol.

Could be mixes, hemp flooring or extra cardboard dust if they chewed a load up at the weekend. Fossie once went sneezy and runny nosed when she had been chewing some cardboard over her head and all the dust was falling up her nose. Could be the wheels if they smell strongly of pine/ phenols.
You could eliminate things one by one, or eliminate all the new stuff and reintroduce one by one.

Okay! Thanks for your help guys.
If it IS the food do I stop giving it them? They absolutely love it.
Poppy hasn't chewed any cardboard, the wheels do smell a bit - they're the ones from zooplus the big wooden ones.
I've removed all the cardboard that's been chewed by Pickle, so no dusty bits floating about.

Dust hang in the air, so give it a day or two for things to settle. You never know, it could even be my dusty old cages!
Another thing to consider - the flowers you have in the kitchen?

Oh yeah! I'll move the flowers to the bedroom. Thanks for that suggestion! I bet people who don't know we've met are like "woah that's weird" 😂
I'll wait and see what happens over the next few days. I do have a suspicion it might be the forage. 😤

If it is the forage, hopefully it is one particular mix, or even one particular plant that you will be able to avoid.

I've found that forage and herbs oftan have tiny dust bits that make my lot sneeze, same with the hay... Adorable tiny sneezes...
