Aww that's great, so pleased for you. It's really great you got her to the vets so quickly. Sounds like she's making great progress & feeling much better.

Eating well today quite alert. Little sod was hard to catch to give the meds but she took them quite easily. Metacam easier than the baytril though. I suppose Metacam is quite sweet as it smells like honey. I've got a cat that loves the stuff when I've had to medicate him. I'm now thinking the infection had spread to her ear as I caught baby Serena sniffing it on the side her head is tilting.

Glad she's obviously feeling so much better!
Metacam is honey flavoured (there are apparently other brands that are meat flavoured). Scaredy happily trots over to drink it when he sees the syringe, but will NOT accept any other brand!

She has still got the head tilt but I don't think it's has severe as it was. Enjoyed her dustbath today. Eating normally, drinking normally, seems more active today and certainly doesn't look miserable like she did the other day. She even forgive me for picking her up and syringing the nasty medicine into her,by sitting on my hand to eat some food off of it.

Ah yes I see that slight tilt but she looks like she is alert and coordinating well. All good so far. Bless her, she keeps stopping and looking like 'Can I help you with something' lol.

Been back at the vets for a checkup today. Head tilt is still there no signs of infection in her mouth, bright and alert. She's getting a beggar to catch to give her meds to. Vet was pleased with her and given her another 10 day course of baytril. She said she has seen this occur in rabbits and guinea pigs after having a tooth problem and said that the head tilt may not go. As long as she is eating drinking and being active then she should be ok and just have a head tilt.

Good outcome! And the head tilt adds to her character!

Good to hear she is acting normally. It's a bit difficult to know what to do or think about the remaining headtilt, perhaps it means there is some infection remaining deep inside, or I wonder if the infection can do some permanent damage.

I was just wondering the same thing, Moletteuk. Perhaps the inner ear has been damaged somehow?

If it's something similar to labrynthitis, it can take months to fully clear.
