So poppy has sustained a third injury SOMEHOW from the two goos below.. just noticed lots of blood blobs in her sectioned off part of the cage and her tail is bleeding a fair bit.. now clogged with sand.. I can't see the wound cos it's clogged. How do I clean it and should I wrap a plaster around it to keep it clean? It's gonna be dragged through sand and wee.

Clean it with some cooled boiled water to get the sand and muck off. Remove the sand bath until it has healed. It should be fine in a day or two.

Thanks uglibug 😁 I have cleaned it with boiled (and cooled) salt water and taken her bath out. She's not a happy bunny!

Could you maybe get some wood cut at B&Q to cover the floor instead so they can't bite through maybe? Or something else more solid?

I have reinforced the sides with wood so I have no clue how she's gotten bit!! Xx I'm gonna put another layer of coco fibre down too. She's such a cuddly goo I'm SO happy she's so snuggly!

Perhaps you could watch for a while and try to figure out how the contact is happening? If they are continuing to be aggressive, it might be worth considering moving Poppy away from the others for a little while, if possible.

It's just her making holes in the flooring and getting through. We've drilled wood to the sides now so the bowing has been pushed flat so no heads or limbs can be pushed down there. Also put a towel over the flooring so she can't rip through x
