I believe Chip and Drum to be a girl.
In the last day or so I have noticed white "stuff" around chips private parts. I could try and get a photo but It will be hard. She isn't a fan of my looking. She is 6ish months.

Have you been able to sex them yourself? Ideally we could do with pictures of both so we can see what sex they both are

What do you mean by the white stuff? Some kind of discharge? Could there be an infection?
You might be able to get a better look using a sheet of glass (kitchen cupboard shelf) or pyrex dish or sheet of mesh, anything she meet walk on they you can see through.

They both look female to me.

Female dogs, at the end of their heat, produce a whitish mucus that may have brownish streaks in it. I suspect that degus may do a similar thing, near the end of their cycle, but most likely seldom is seen or caught by most owners.

I hope it is something to do with her cycle. However, if you still see it tomorrow, I would have a vet check to see if it is an infection or not.
