Is it defiantly not from the substrate you bought? I occasionally come across random coloured flakes in the shavings I buy from PaH.
I wouldn't think it would be blood or wee if it's that colour - I'm not sure what our more experienced members think?

Dandelion leaf/root, beet root additives, and raspberry leaf in nugget foods, and some other food sources I can't remember at the moment, can cause discolouration of the urine. It shouldn't be a difficulty or problem at all.

I do give them forage so it may be something in that is doing something to the colour

What have they been eating recently? Have they been drinking less than normal?

deguconvert is probably right - Dave the chinchilla used to scare me with the same thing regularly. Any veg with beta carotine can also change urine colour. Vitamins B2 & C also. Found this deguworld.proboards.com/thread/8790, might help

Bark can discolour wee quite dramatically.

Doesn't look like blood to me – too orange and too much all the same color. Blood in urine more likely causes bright red streaks and dries brown.
