I didn't really want to have to use this part of the chin section so soon after getting my chin but today within the last few hours she has developed a really red-pink ear, she is holding it back against her whilst the other is fine, does anyone know why this may happen? what should I do?

Chins are strange little fluff balls She is completely fine after being like this for about 2 hours! I think she just wants to be on the forum a lot! She still has a few red marks but she is a mischievous little goo (she is one of the goos now) She is just sitting there like 'what' as if nothing happened! I shouldn't be so quick to think its a problem but I would still like to know what this is? It wasn't part of my research- random colour changing ears!

I would check the ear over to make sure there are no cuts or scrapes on there, otherwise I have no idea, lol - I'm tempted to say that she may have been too hot, but that normally involves both ears !

Are there any cuts on there, or does it look inflamed/infected at all? Otherwise I'm not sure, chinchillaworld.com may be able to offer some answers, the members on there are far more experienced chinchilla owners than I am.
