Here are some American suppliers found by Winic1: "Here's a few listings that look good (note, I have NOT ordered from them yet, just looking at websites.) Many more websites come up if you search for "dried vegetables" or "dried veggies". North Bay Trading Company ( http://www.northbaytrading.com) Shipping $7 flat rate standard, will ship to Canada & overseas, but have to call for rates/details/arrangements. Small (2.5-3 cup) to large packages available. Harmony House Foods ( http://www.harmonyhousefoods.com) Ship worldwide, rates depend on how much you order & where it's going. Package sizes range from 1 cup to enough to feed a village. Mother Earth Products ( www.motherearthproducts.com ) $7 shipping. USA only right now, the website says. Small and larger packages." Please report back with a review if anyone places an order

Can anyone help with more Uk suppliers? My girls are desperate for the apple twigs I got before in an oblong box (can't remember the name). They cost less than £2 and lasted about 2 months . They don't seem to be available anymore, possibly discontinued. I have tried a couple of the above links but they don't seem to be what I'm looking for and in comparison are really pricey!

You can get apple twigs on ebay, I know I've had some from there as I've never seen them in a pet store.
For general food, try Pet's Corner. They've just brought out their own range of degu food, a mix of pellets and hay, and our goos are mad for it!

Pets at home now sell small bags of apple twigs. My goos love them!

Great finds! Just ingredients seems to beat Ratrations prices, the postage looks a bit confusing though. Did you put your recent seed order in with one of these places?

Great finds! Just ingredients seems to beat Ratrations prices, the postage looks a bit confusing though. Did you put your recent seed order in with one of these places? I've put orders in for both, the JI delivery is calculated on weight on it's own site, or orders over £50 are free. For 2kg of different seeds it cost £7 delivery but it still worked out cheaper than with the set rate on Amazon as I got 15% off my order. The second site I used through Amazon as the prices are the same and delivery was cheaper with such a small order. I'll let you know how the delivery is for both!

I got my order from Just Ingredients through yesterday, and my Buy Whole Foods Online order today, bearing in mind I ordered last Thursday and it was a Bank Holiday, delivery was quick for both! The seeds are all good quality, with extremely few artifacts in the pack (as you'd expect with them being for human consumption).

Is it just me or does Futterparadies only deliver in Germany/Austria?

Somebody contacted them a while back and they said they could deliver to the UK for £15 for up to 2kg, £16 for up to 4kg etc, as long as the money was paid in advance or something... I'll find the post... After davx kindly facilitated the initial contact, they have now given me details of the postage for delivery to the UK: 2kg - 15EUR 4kg - 16EUR 6kg - 17EUR 8kg - 18EUR 10kg - 20EUR 12kg - 21EUR 14kg - 22EUR 16kg - 24EUR 18kg - 25EUR 20kg - 26EUR 25kg - 28EUR 31,5kg - 31EUR Delivery to any of the islands would be an extra 16,66EUR. Package will be, dependent on volume order, between 0,5 and 2,5kg. This needs to be taken into account when calculating the total weight. Prepayment would be required (Futterparadies is a trusted supplier on deguforum.de). I believe this would be a fantastic resource for anyone interested in providing their degus with a healthy and varied diet. Their prices seem competitive enough to make the postage acceptable, even more so if members living near to each others managed to put a joint order together.

Thanks, NTG, I was just confused as they said on their Delivery page they wouldn't deliver outside of Germany because of the high costs. I thought my German was getting worse as well haha
