My two girl goos that are together seem to have OCD that i dont see in my boys or my other girl.
when i give them new toys or when i hand feed them instead of playing with the toys or eating the food they run striaght to their big wooden house in the corner and hide it in there. Its full to the brim of all the fantastic stuff i have got them over the last six months they are supposed to be playing with. If i try to take it back out of distribute it around the cage they get quite irate with me and spend the next ten minutes frantically putting it back!
they have plenty of space in their cage and have lots of outside running time but always seem to want to hide their toys away. The other day Bo had even some how managed to drag their food bowl into the wooden house. It must have been pretty heavy for her but somehow she managed it. Betty does this as well but i think she is just under orders from Bo to stash as much as possible. they even managed to fit their huge card board tube in their one day. any thing of any importance seem to get stashed away. Bo also seems to try her best to get the wheel off and i'm sure its to get that in there as well.
Is this normal? My boys dont do it unless its a really important toy which gets taken to their fluffy tube to be used as a pillow.
What do you all think?

another thing my boyfriend has noticed is that Bo always has to turn the wheel into a certain position beofre she climbs on. As if she is looking for the same point to be in the same position before she goes for a run. She will stand turning the wheel for ages before she is happy. Have i just got strange goos?

hehehe brilliant ;D Its their wonderfully wierdness that makes me love them so much. My boys have started sleeping in a very strange position in their fluffy tube. One will be on his back and the other one sleeping on top of him using his winky and bum as a pillow! lol Vincent still guards the wheel everytime Andy gos near the cage. he stamps grunts and growls at him whilst holding onto the bars untill he goes away but he is perfectly happy for me to touch his wheel. I have noticed my boys now they are a bit older speak a lot more with their tails. One day i think one may take off if he spins it any faster. Goo does the water bottle thing rubbing his cheeks against it between taking sips its very funny to watch. The boys favourite game at the moment is hhide and seek. When i take them out of the cage and put them in the hall ( i live in a bungalow so they have lots of running room in the hall) vincent chases goo at full pelt around in circles and up and down never quite catching him untill goo jumps on my shoulder to hide for a breather. Vincent isnt quite smart enough to figure out where goo has disappeared to and stamps his feet grunting in frustration when he cant see him. then when goo gets his breath back he jumps down, prods vincent and they are off again! its so funny to watch. as soo as they go back in their cage its all kisses and cuddles. they are wonderful

love the video smux lol, dolly, my girl does the same type of thing as dante, but she stands in the cage with her front paws on the wheel, even when dorris is on it! They are mad aren't they?
Since both of Karl's eyes have cateracts, he tries to stop gerry and fidget from eating out of their food bowl. He is a little madam, but when i tell him off, he looks at me as if to say ' moi, would i be a bully?' I just tell them, 'excuse me' and nudge karl 'i;m top goo, not you' lol and he goes and sulks in the corner! that is until he thinks i;ve gone, and it all starts again

Pepper has to move everything around after ive cleaned the cage as if to say "stop moving it mum" a bit like a teenager son . Pepper is also the OCD one - hides wooden pegs and toys in the bed - god knows how they get in there - so every week i remove them and every week they go back in I have noticed that the C&P always start off running to the right and then change around and go the other way - Better view !!! wheel sickness who knows. The pups dont seem to have any OCD issues other than covering the top part of the cage in toilet tissue - looks like they have had a rave ......... off to clean up
