Hey, I am new to the forum. You can call me Jay - I am from East Sussex (near Kent). I am in my mid teens and I am going to become a first time Goo owner on Saturday. I had been mentioning getting Goo's to my Mum for a while now, since we looked after a family members Chinchillas and Degu whilst they were away. I originally wanted two, best when we went to a Pets At Home to get some things for their cages and to talk to the staff, my Mum decided she wanted two aswell (then my brother jumped in so we are going to have four - two are mine, one is my Mums and the other is my Brothers). I will be picking up four little boys, from a Pets At Home store. I have done thorough research into how Goo's live, behave, feed and other info like cages. And think I am prepared for four little Goo's to destroy my home XD I have read books, websites and spoken to people I know that own them for advice. Me and my Mum have also researched on telling their genders apart (we have viewed a few on youtube) and I believe one was from this forum. So hopefully if P.A.H are not on ball and we end up with a Girly Goo we should be able to tell! I am looking forward to posting and getting to know everyone. And more importantly becoming a Goo Owner

Hi Jay!! Welcome to the forum! You are getting so close to picking up your goos! You must be getting so excited!! WOO HOO! I wish I could say that I remember that feeling, but I was a rather reluctant parent, tagging along for the purchase because I was trying to be excited for my kids. LOL! Now I am every bit as in love with them as they are . . . maybe more in some ways. We do love our gooboys! I look forward to hearing from you about getting them, bringing them home, and getting to know them. It's good to know that you have been doing so much research into them. They can be complex little creatures, and they do some weird stuff sometimes. You've come to a good place. This forum is full of excellent owners with kind and understanding hearts.
Welcome aboard!
